Actually it was not me who wanted to go to Bangkok. It was my mom so the vacation was a birthday gift for her. We purchased the Air Asia flight ticket during Matta Fair. Also the travel package in one of the booth. We was lucky to get 4 days 3 nights stay for only RM199/pax (not including the ACF). It was pretty cheep as the free & easy package concise of;
- 4 Days 3 Night stay at P2 Boutique Hotel, Petchburi Road with free Breakfast
- Half Day Bangkok Tour &
- Airport Transfer
Since its cheap, we kinda had bad feeling. Maybe the hotel and the tour will not be good. I did my homework at TripAdvisor and I got mixed review on the hotel. We was told that the shopping area is very close to the hotel. That was something positive. Myself and mom was more concern on the safety and cleanliness and the location.

The day arrive and we was excited. I was lucky to get the window seat. Got a chance to take pic. I was shocked to the see the view because I can't find anything green. It was full with buildings. I cant believe it!

Done with the immigration clearance, our tour guide was already waiting for us holding a board with my name on it. Wahhh, on time! He pass the first impression test!

The 10 seater coach was really huge for both of us. He directly sent us to the hotel and told us that he will pick us up at 7am the next day for the half day tour. The check-in process was fast at P2 Boutique Hotel. The staffs was so friendly.

We was escorted to the room. There you go, the room was super clean and comfy. For the price we pay, we got more here. We were also given free WiFi access.

OK its time for lunch. We are new here so the GSA recommended us to try the North Indian food next door and we did. The menu was given. I was shocked! Tosai cost RM 15 (after convert) whereas in Malaysia you can get for RM1.50. And the best part is my mom can make good Tosai. Now I regret for complaining my mom's cooking.

So after Lunch, no more waiting. Its shopping time! We got to know the short cut to Platinum Mall. It is the shopping area. Went into Indra Mall, you can get stuff cheap her but you can get cheaper if you buy min 3 piece/bulk.

After tired walking, went back to hotel by Tuk-Tuk. I would say its expensive but you can bargain. We wanted to experience getting into Tuk-Tuk, so we did it. I would recommend metered cab. After short nap, we went out for dinner but obviously not at the North Indian Restaurant again. As we was walking at the street, a young lady came to us showing the menu. The Tomyam looks good, so that was our dinner.

Next day guess what, we received a wake up call from the reception at 6am. I was surprised, thank you P2. At 7am sharp, the tour guide pick us up and we went to few other hotels to get other passengers. We went straight to Chao Phraya River. We had a boat ride, and it was really amazing to see lots buildings around us. Don't worry which side you're seating in the boat, as you will be able to see the other side when you return.

We got down at Wat Arun Temple and we was given 30 minutes to go around. I have to say, the architecture was superb. You can check out the pics. Did few shopping and got into the boat. We also stopped to feed the fish. Its a believe that the fishes there belong to the temple and they do not leave. Its a sin to kill them. We can buy bread and feed them. You can also do shopping while seating in the boat. How? Check out the pic!

Done with Chao Phraya River, the next destination was the jewelry making center. It was our first time to see how jewelry with stones are made. We can make purchase directly and its original. Therefore, you will receive certificates upon purchase and the price is reasonable. Sorry no taking pictures yea. Next was honey seller. I for got the name but worth going there as we learn how to differentiate the original and duplicate honey ;-)

The end of the half day tour. The tour guide gave us option where to stop, so what else? Platinum Mall and shopping!!!

After 4 Days 3 Night I think my bargaining skills has improved ;-). Before leaving the hotel, the staff in the reception borrowed us their weighing machine. It was very nice of them. Thank god our luggage was not overweight.
We said good bye to the staffs and got into our coach. Again the driver was on time. Good Bye Bangkok, we will definitely return. That moment I though, my judgement was wrong in term of the tour package.
